A presentation suitable for tweens, teens and adults will be held from 1-3 p.m. July 14 at Tutu’s House in Waimea.

The prevention-based education program teaches what sex trafficking is, what the warning signs are, why it is common in Hawaii and how to get help. It discusses the dangers of social media and gaming, and reinforces using privacy settings. It also addresses pornography and other cultural norms that are fueling the demand for underage youth and concludes with suggestions on how to get involved to bring about change.

Free parking will be available on site. To attend, register on Hoola Na Pua’s event page at https://hoolanapua.org/hawaii/
