From 5-7 p.m. July 18, county and state candidates will share their positions and policies with the public at a free candidate forum in Kapaau. The event will be held at the North Kohala Civic Center’s Judiciary Building, behind the Kamehameha statue on Akoni Pule Highway.
Participants confirmed are District 9 Councilman Tim Richards and candidate Maya Parish; and state house Rep. Cindy Evans and candidates David Tarnas and Tom Belekanich.
