Frank Miller

Frank Earl Miller, 74, of Kailua-Kona, died on July 20, 2018, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in Gary, Indiana, and was a retired landscape designer, member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Mokuaikaua Church, and the Calvary Community Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Friends may call at noon on July 24 at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery for graveside committal services. Casual attire.

He is survived by wife, Rosemary Miller of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Katharine (Charles) Kile of State College, Penn., Olga (Kevin) Dorf of Colleyville, Texas and Sonia (William) Wyrough of Niceville, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and several cousins.

Betty De Sa

Betty Lou De Sa, 85, of Pepeekeo, died July 9, 2018, at home. Born Feb. 9, 1933, in Pepeekeo, she was a homemaker and former religious education teacher, member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou and a former member of the Portuguese Club.

Visitation will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on July 27 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Papaikou; Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.; burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 5. Casual attire.

She is survived by son, Edwin De Sa Jr. of Pepeekeo; brother, Robert DeMotta of Hilo; sister-in-law, Trina DeMotta of Hilo; grandchildren, Marlene De Sa-Smith of Texas and Edwin De Sa III of Puna; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
