To bring ease and clarity to difficult conversations about what will happen to property, assets, valuables and even children when you pass away, Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union is sponsoring “Estate Planning 101,” a free educational seminar led by John Roth, founder of Hawaii Trust & Estate Counsel, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. July 28 at the Kohala Intergenerational Center at 54-3853 Akoni Pule Highway in Kapaau.

The discussion will cover the difference between a last will and testament and estate planning, the estate planning process, how to prepare for the initial consultation, identifying when it’s time to review/revise an existing plan and common hypothetical scenarios to get started. Seating is limited.
