Residents and visitors are invited to participate in this Saturday’s work day from 9 a.m.-noon at Waimea Nature Park, Ulu La’au. A tour of the park is offered for first timers. There are jobs for all ages and abilities. No knowledge of Hawaiian plants is necessary, as training can be provided.
Snacks will be provided. Another volunteer day is scheduled at the same time Aug. 25.
