Gregory Ross

Gregory “Cowboy” Edmund Ross, 60, of Kailua-Kona, died June 2, 2018, at his residence. Born Aug. 20, 1957, in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, he was a visionary and special person never known to sit still always dreaming and promoting in what he believed in.

Service will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 18 at Honokohau Harbor Pavilion. BYOB and pupus welcomed. Info: (808) 987-6348.

He is preceded in death by wife, Susan.

He is survived by daughter, Gina Ross of Kailua-Kona; hanai daughter, Heidi Keller and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rainson-Jo Galdones

Rainson-Jo Keli’i Galdones, 42, of Volcano, died Aug. 4, 2018, at Hawaii Care Choices formerly Hospice of Hilo. Born on Nov. 16, 1975 in Hilo, he was a kitchen helper for K’s Drive Inn and he also work at the MR. K’s Recycling Company in Hilo.

Friends may call from 8-10 a.m. Aug. 18 at the Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. celebration of Mass. Casual attire; no floral arrangements.

He is survived by mother, Elaine Oleyte of Volcano; son, Tyler Thornley Galdones of California; daughter, Kahli Akau of Hilo; partner, Robyn Acgalon of Hilo; stepmother, Camille (Daniel) Hauanio of Kealakehe; sisters, Robinette (Amando) Alameida of Ocean View, Piilani (Kalani Keawe) Galdones of Volcano and Star Galdones of Kona; brothers, Kekoa (Sara) Galdones and Kapono (Madonna) Oliveira of Kona; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Asako Yamaguchi

Asako “Molly” Yamaguchi, 91, of Waimea, died Aug. 2, 2018, at Hale Hoola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in in Kapulena, she was a clerk for the former Hayashi Store and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Buddhist Women’s Association and Kamuela American Japanese Civic Association.

Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.

She is survived by sons, Mack Yamaguchi, Mark Yamaguchi of Waimea; daughters, Judy (Clifford) Hannah of Gardena, Calif., Debra Maikui of Las Vegas; hanai daughter, Deedee Keakealani Bertelmann of Waimea; sisters, Peggy Hamano, Betty Sanehira of Honolulu; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, two great-great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon Angelo

Sharon Roxanna Angelo, 54, of Kapaau, died July 31, 2018, at her residence. Born in Kapaau on Aug. 17, 1963, she was a cashier at a retail store in the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel.

Visitation will be held at 8 a.m. Aug. 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi. Mass will be at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in the Hawi County Cemetery. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.

She is survived by her son, Kallan Angelo of Kapaau; daughter, Tesha Angelo of Kapaau; parents, Roy and Nancy Antonio, Sr. of Kapaau; brother, Roy (Melissa) Antonio, Jr. of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Janice Antonio of Kapaau, Rochelle (Vance) Antonio of Hilo; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
