KAILUA-KONA — West Hawaii Today’s fourth season of Football Fever is kicking off, and you’re invited to play.

Every week, our in-house experts will pick a slate of collegiate and professional games against the spread. Football lovers, or anyone else for that matter, are encouraged to go online at www.westhawaiitoday.com to fill out and submit the same ballot and try and beat them.

All the ballots with a better record than the best panelist will then be compiled and the one randomly selected from that pool will win $250.

It’s that easy. No subscription necessary or special offer attached — it’s just the fun of picking some pigskin.

At the end of the season, a grand prize drawing will determine the winner of a trip for two to Las Vegas, valued at $1,500, along with $500 spending money. That winner will be drawn randomly at the end of the promotion from all entries received.

This year’s WHT panel is comprised of managing editor Tom Hasslinger, sports editor JR De Groote and sports reporter Rick Winters. Their picks will be found inside every Friday print edition, including today’s.

As an added bonus, each week’s winners will be featured on the front page of Saturday’s paper, too. Good luck, and may the ball bounce your way.
