It’s disheartening to see West Hawaii Today continuously reprint opinion pieces from the likes of Michael Gerson at the Washington Post. Gerson refuses to get his rabies shots.

The Washington Post has dedicated itself to attacking the current administration and to obscuring any positive news (the wonderful, surging economy, lowered unemployment, curtailing of anti-business regulations, European partners asked to pay their fair share, the military once more proud and recognized, North Korea negotiating instead of threatening, trade imbalances and agreements being strongly re-negotiated, Israel embassy moved to Jerusalem, illegal immigration attacked, Constitutionalists being installed in the Judiciary, and on and on.)

Where are the positive stories, WHT? Isn’t the record-high economy and jobs market worth an opinion piece?

When you reprint drivel from the Post, you expose your Hawaii readers to opinions like this:

“A President Trump Could Destroy the World Economy” — headline of Washington Post editorial Nov. 9, 2016

“It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?

A first-pass answer is never … ” — Paul Krugman, Washington Post

Frothing-at-the-mouth opinions, and yet completely, absurdly, alarmingly wrong! But WHT is faithfully parroting these idiots!

Your readers deserve balance. If you can’t hide your leftist bias, at least give us opposing views.
