Military convoys planned this week

KAILUA-KONA — Oahu-based military units will convoy this week between Pohakuloa Training Area, Kawaihae Harbor and Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole.

U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps units will be moving equipment for training to Pohakuloa Training Area from the South Kohala harbor and the North Kona airport, according to the U.S. Army Garrison-Pohakuloa.

Convoys are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday through Oct. 11. Times and dates are subject to change.
