Ironman World Championship week kicked off Sunday with the annual PATH 5K and 10K runs. Below is a list of some of the public events taking place in the coming days:

Today:

– Ironkids Keiki Dip n Dash. Event starts at 4 p.m.; registration from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today. Event includes a run or swim and run for kids ages 2 to 14. Parents must sign a waiver and purchase a non-refundable one-day ($10) USAT license fee or show a valid USAT membership card for each participating keiki.

– Ironman Parade of Nations. Athletes from all over the globe will march down Alii Drive starting at 5 p.m. The route goes from King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel to Hale Halawai.

Thursday:

– Underpants Run, Kona. Event starts at 7:30 a.m. at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel. Mile-and-a-half run also ends at the hotel on Palani Road.
