Boys &Girls Club selected for ‘Fuel up. Do good.’ program

Boys &Girls Club of the Big Island’s Kealakehe Club has been selected as the upcoming beneficiary of the Ohana Fuels ‘Fuel Up. Do Good.’ program. Ohana Fuels partners with nonprofit organizations that serve the needs of the local community, and donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gasoline purchased at Ohana Fuels stations in that community.

From Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018, a portion of all gas sales at Big Island Ohana Fuels locations will be donated to BGCBI.

“We encourage our Hawaii Island community to purchase gas from Ohana Fuels,” said Chad Cabral, BGCBI CEO. “Every gallon of gas purchased at Ohana Fuels benefits the youth members of our Kealakehe Club in West Hawaii. The more gas you buy, the more youth we can help.”

BGCBI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing safe, fun, quality after-school youth care and enrichment for over 66 years. They provide safe, nurturing and fun activities for youth ages 6 to 18 in Hilo, Kea`au, Pahala, Pahoa, Ocean View, and Kealakehe.
