WAIKOLOA — Since the fundraiser began in late October, Waikoloa School PTSA has raised $1,440 of their $25,000 goal. They are seeking donations of anywhere between $5 and $1,000.

“Every little bit helps,” said Stephanie Landers, who serves on the PTSA’s fundraising committee. “This pledge drive will enable us to wrap up our ‘Cool the School’ campaign and get the last 16 classrooms accommodated with air conditioners and help keep our wonderful teachers and keiki cool. We are almost at the finish line.”

Once the project is completed, PTSA members aim to assemble the school’s first PTSA sponsored sports program for students with their Navigator team.

Waikoloa School K-8 PTSA is a parent based organization that assists with the success of students from kindergarten through 8th grade as well as the functioning of Waikoloa Elementary and Middle School.
