Not registered to vote in today’s general election? Not a problem.

Those seeking to vote can register at polling places on election day. The polls opened at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

Would-be voters must complete a registration affidavit and provide physical identification in order to register at their assigned polling place, which is determined by a voter’s address. Acceptable forms of identification include a Hawaii driver’s license, state ID, military ID, U.S. Passport or current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government-issued document showing name and address.

To find your polling location, use the “Find My Polling Place Locator” on the state Office of Elections Website at http://elections.hawaii.gov or call 453-8683.
