KAILUA-KONA — Road resurfacing work on Mamalahoa Highway between Konawaena Elementary School and Greenwell Farms resumes Monday.
Work is currently scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday, as well as Dec. 3, the Hawaii County Department of Public Works Highway Maintenance Division said Wednesday.
Alternating lane closures will be in effect and work will be done on one lane at a time. Travel in both directions will be provided.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and encouraged to use alternate routes. Work is weather permitting.
