A variety of free holiday events will be held each Saturday leading up to Christmas at Kamuela Farmers Market in Waimea.
The first festivity will begin at 10 a.m. this Saturday when HPA Hand Bell Choir performs. At 9:30 a.m. Dec. 8, Prince Dance Institute, a performing arts school based at the Kahilu Theatre, will sing and act in an hour-long holiday themed performance. The following week, a Gingerbread House making competition will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Dec. 15 at the market with judging beginning at 11 a.m.
On Dec. 22 Santa Clause will be at the market from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., with a live performance by Irish Dance Hawaii at 11 a.m.
