Senior Fit Club will kick off at 1:30 p.m. for an hour on Dec. 3 and 17, with a variety of modalities on DVD to choose from. Physical activity is one of the most important steps to improve and maintain health. Studies show that people who stay active are more likely to live longer and remain independent.

Caregiving Conversations will gather from 11 a.m.-noon Dec. 5 with professional caregiver Karyn Clay. Whether a caregiver by heart, hire or relationship, join fellow caregivers in sharing stories, support and inspiration.

Cancer Support Group for Women will meet from 12:30-2 p.m. Dec. 5. Whether a survivor, currently in treatment, recently diagnosed, or coping with the effects of cancer on a loved one, join this group to discover the power of healing through connection with others who share a common bond.

Medical Cannabis in Hawaii with Craig Pollard will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Dec. 5. Attend this program to learn about the evolving medical cannabis program in Hawaii. The presentation will cover the steps involved with becoming a medical patient in Hawaii. Learn about the endocannabinoid system and how it affects many of the basic physiologic processes. Pollard will touch on the rising popularity of CBD, as well as using medical cannabis to treat pain. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A, where all cannabis related questions are welcome.

Zumba Gold in a chair will meet from 10:30-11 a.m. Dec. 6 and 20 with Renée Morinaka, a licensed instructor. This class is for those who have mobility or balance issues, but still love to move and dance. It includes stretching to upbeat music, and activates hand, arm, leg and body movements. The group will sit during the entire class. Bring water, a towel and wear covered shoes.

End of Life Matters with Bobbi Bryant, an end of life doula and trainer will be from 3-4:30 pm Dec. 6 and 13. This series of five 90-minute classes will inspire attendees how dying can be done differently. By bringing the conversation about death out of the closet and into the light, learn how to be more intentional about choices regarding living and dying.
