Alice Martin

Alice Lopez Martin, 80, of Hilo, died Nov. 9, 2018, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lanai City, she was a retired sales clerk for F.W. Woolworth and was a homemaker.

A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

She is survived by husband, James “Kimo” Martin of Hilo; sons, Rod (Jeff) Sanchez of Washington, Randy (Michelle) Sanchez of Oahu, Ricky Sanchez of Lanai City, Rocky (Lorna) Sanchez of Oahu, James Martin of Texas, Lance (Kari) Martin of Hilo; daughters, Cheryl (Cameron) Kaapana of California, Aleka (Howard) Martin of South Dakota; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Titus Kalauli

Titus Kivin Kalauli, 63 of Hilo, died Oct. 24, 2018, at home. Born on Feb. 10, 1955, he was a musician and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Celebration of life will be from will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at Rodney and Pearl Haili’s Tent on Noeau Street in Panaewa Hawaiian Homes (Hilo). No flowers, casual attire.

He is survived by his siblings, Alika (Germaine) Kalauli III of Honolulu, Revelation (Georgiann) Kalauli of Hilo, Patlynn Elizabeth (Llewellyn Sr) Kaui of Hilo, Brian Keith (Namahana) Kalauli of Hilo, Lamentation (Alohi) Kalauli of Hilo, Psalms Danny Thomas “Bull” (Kehaulani) Kalauli of Hilo, and John Chesebro of Hilo. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
