John Robel, Jr.

John H Robel, Jr., 92, of Hawi, died Dec. 8, 2018, at his residence. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, he was a retired electrician, a former businessman, owner of Robel Electric, co-owner of Johnny’s and The Stockade, member of IBEW Local 265 and the BPOE Lodge 80 in Lincoln, Neb.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Road, Kamuela, Hawaii 96743.

He is survived by wife, Mary Jo Robel of Hawi; son, David Robel of Nebraska; daughters, Terry (Jerry) Williams, Denise (Bill) Blesso all of Hawi; two grandsons, a great-grandson, nieces and nephews.

Allen Tim Sing, Jr.

Allen Tim Sing, Jr., 49, of Hilo, died Nov. 30, 2018, at the Kaiser Medical Center on Oahu. He was born in Hilo and was a mason.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6:30 p.m. funeral service, followed by cremation. Casual attire, no flowers.

He is survived by his wife, Oliva I. Tim Sing of Hilo; sons, Allen (Chanae Espejo) Tim Sing, Gillmon Tim Sing and Kaleo Tim Sing, all of Hilo; daughters, Sephora (Brandyn Alesna) Tim Sing and Allison (Donald Mulliken) Tim Sing, both of Hilo; brothers, Wayne Isabel of Hilo, Gaylord Kawaihae of Kamuela and Chadburn Tim Sing of the mainland; sisters, Puanani (Julio) Isabel of Los Angeles, Ilima (Wesley Moniz) Isabel of Hilo, Bernadette (Marco) Siliezar of Los Angeles and Marlene (Dale Codero) Tim Sing of Washington state; four grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tori Kaneshiro

Tori Mikaila Kaneshiro, 30, of Pahoa, died Dec. 11, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on May 7, 1988, in Hilo, she was a loving mother, daughter, sister and granddaughter.

Friends may call 8-10 a.m. Dec. 21 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Casual attire; flowers and lei are welcomed.

She is survived by her children, Zechariah Noclain, Malachi Noclain, Kaliah Noclain and Kaylee Araw of Hawaii; parents, Kim (Yarrett) Rosario of Hawaii and John Roger (Rhonda Mattos) Nobriga of Hawaii; brothers and sisters, Jordan (Brandilyn Ferreira) Kaneshiro, Kayla (Troy) Samson, Vince Ogawa, Chasen Ogawa, Anthony Rosario, Hailey Rosario and Joshua Rosario of Hawaii; grandparents, Susan (Ruben) Villanueva of Hawaii; numerous aunts, uncles and cousin.

James Kaneshiro

James “Jimmy” Kaimana Kaneshiro, 46 of Mountain View died Nov. 21, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 15, 1972, in Honolulu.
