Kahakai top readers celebrate

Auntie’s Angels – Big Island hosted the top readers from each grade at Kahakai Elementary School. The Fish Hopper hosted breakfast for all students and their chaperones. General manager Sam Johnson provided breakfast and presented each student with a new dictionary.

The group then walked over to Hulihee Palace for a private tour, visited the Kona Library to select books from the outside racks, and had lunch at McDonald’s before returning to school.
