Relay for Life theme open for voting
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and it needs your mana.
The nonprofit dedicated to combating cancer is asking the community to vote for what it wants the theme this year.
Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries, who give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer. The events bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
This year’s Relay for Life in Kailua-Kona will be from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday, July 13 at a location that is yet to be determined.
But people can help today by registering online at: RelayForLife.Org/KonaHI and then cast their vote for your favorite theme! Voting closes Jan. 31.
