KAILUA-KONA — Hawaii Island police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing from the Honokaa Town area since Wednesday.

Hiilei Peneku is described as being about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes, long brown hair, light complexion, and has a tattoo of a sunflower on her right shoulder, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
