Dolly Antonio

Dolly Kaluna Antonio, 75, of Kapaau, died Feb. 19, 2019, at the Kohala Hospital. Born in Hilo on March 3, 1943, she was a retired housekeeping clerk at the Marriott Outrigger Resorts and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m. March 2 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawi. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Hawi County Cemetery. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.

She is survived by husband, Paul Antonio, Jr. of Kapaau; sons, Paul (Cindy) Antonio, III and Shane Antonio of Kapaau; daughter, Michelle O’Malley of Kapaau; brother, Thomas Chesebro, Jr. of Honolulu; sister, Joan Ballesteros of Kona; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

John Walls

John William Walls, 95 of Hilo, died at home on Feb. 5, 2019. Born on March 10, 1924, in Vashon Island, Wash., he was a retired owner and operated All Barb’s Florist Shops in Anchorage, Alaska, for over 30 years. He was a Navy veteran who served in World War II in the Pacific Theater.

A celebration of life will be held on March 2 at United Community Church 1110 Kinoole St. Service is at 11 a.m.

He is survived by wife Barbara Jean Walls of Hilo; son George Edward “Ted” (Jeanette) Walls, Rand Thomas “Baker Tom” of Hilo; brother Francis Harold Walls; 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert Kueker

Robert John Kueker, 62, of Hilo, died on Feb. 17, 2019, at the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Red Bud, Ill.

Kid McCoy

Kid Steele “Brother” McCoy, 62, of Captain Cook, died Feb. 10, 2019, at Hale Hoola Hamakua. Born in Lawton, Okla.; on March 13, 1955, he attended Kona Krafts, Arc of Kona, Kona Adult Day Care and Full Life West Hawaii.

Services will be private. Donations may be made in his memory to Full Life West Hawaii, Kona Historical Society, Christ Church Episcopal in Kealakekua or Arc of Kona.

He is survived by his cousin, Patricia McCoy Greenwell of Captain Cook; niece, Anne Greenwell (Justin) Pitts of Captain Cook; caregivers, Tiffany, Dana, Pam and Maryanne.
