KAILUA-KONA — No injuries were reported in connection with a structure fire Friday night on Luhia Street.

Firefighters arrived on the scene of the fire at Palm Terrace/Kona Diving Co. shortly before 11:15 p.m. Friday, where they found flames with heavy smoke, according to a Hawaii Fire Department press release.

The fire was attacked from the exterior with an engine turrent and from within using hand lines. The press release said the fire was confined to the room of origin and adjoining businesses weren’t affected.

The cause of the fire was under investigation at the time of the release.
