Stewart Miyamoto
Stewart Maruo Miyamoto, 63, of Kailua-Kona, died April 3, 2019, at his home. Born March 5, 1956, in Honolulu, he was a commercial fisherman and co-owner of Heola, former engineer for Hualalai Resort and founding member of Club Kahauloa Hawaii.
Service information to be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be sent to Mana Christian Ohana Church in Waimea.
He is survived by wife, Susan Miyamoto of Kailua-Kona; daughters; Christina Miyamoto, Lila (Fernando) Gouveia; brother, Stanford Miyamoto; sister, Wilma Bockhaus; and one grandaughter, all of Honolulu.

Akito Imai
Mr. Akito “Akat” Imai, 89, of Hawi, Kohala, died March 27, 2019, in the Kohala Hospital. Born in Halawa, Kohala, on March 19, 1930, and was a retired construction laborer. He was a member of the Kohala Jodo Mission.
Visitation will be held 9-10:30 a.m. April 20 at the Kohala Jodo Mission in Kapaau. Memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire is requested. Inurnment Service will be at noon April 22 at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo.
He is survived by wife, Ayako Imai of Hawi; sons, Derrik (Jewelle) Imai of Hilo and Clinton (Cheryl) Imai of Kapaau; daughter, Jamie Takimoto of Captain Cook; four sisters-in-law; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Valerie Kealohi-Regohos
Valerie “Val” Kealohi-Regohos, 56, of Kailua-Kona, died March 24, 2019, at her family’s residence. Born in Honolulu on April 30, 1962, she was a bus driver for Robert’s Hawaii Tour Company, Iosepa Transportation and Speedi-Shuttle.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. April 19 at Dodo Mortuary’s Hilo chapel at 199 Wainaku St. in Hilo. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. A celebration of life will also be held at 11 a.m. April 21 at Old A’s Makaeo pavilion. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by her husband, Sheldon Regohos of Kailua-Kona; son, Harry (Lindsey) Kealohi of Summerlin, Nev.; daughter, Desha (Ryan) Hegerfeldt of Waikoloa; brothers, Hanalei (Pinky) Kealohi of Waianae, Oahu, Wendell Kealohi and Nelson Kealohi of Makaha, Oahu; sister, Jody (George) Parton of Makakilo, Oahu; hanai sister, Deborah (Rick) Brodo of Mountain View; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dennis Wong
Mr. Dennis Norman Wong, 71, of Kaalaiki, Ka’u, died March 29, 2019, in the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pahala on Aug. 13, 1947, and was retired from the County of Hawaii Road Department as an equipment operator III. He was also recently retired from Akita Enterprises as a bus driver. He was a United States Army veteran who served in the Vietnam era.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon on April 20 at the family residence in Kaalaiki, Ka’u, Hawaii (954330 Kaalaiki Road). Please call 936-4588 for directions and more information.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Hanoa Wong of Kaalaiki, Ka’u; daughter, Denicia (Kirk) Derasin of Kau; sons, Lucan Wong of Maui and Colton (Tiana) Wong of Mountain View; sisters, Victoria (Randy) Kai of Waiohinu and Charlene (Marshall) Harvest of Haleiwa; hanai son, Shane Uyetake of Hilo; six grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Charles Kimura
Mr. Charles Tsuruo Kimura, 87, of Kamuela, died March 21, 2019, at the North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Waimea on July 12, 1931, he was a livestock manager for Parker Ranch and maintenance worker for Waikoloa Village Golf Course and Waimea Country Club. He was a member of the Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Paniolo Preservation Society, and an inductee into the Paniolo Hall of Fame. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served in the Hawaii National Guard.
Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. April 20 at the Kamuela Hongwanji Mission at 65-1110 Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea. Memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Casual attire and no flowers.
He is survived by daughter, Laura (Elmer) Auna of Honokaa; sons, Audie (Jody) Kimura of Honolulu and Carl Kimura of Kamuela; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
