Chamber networking event Wednesday

KAILUA-KONA — The public is invited to the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce’s networking event, AfterHours, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Kona Coffee &Tea, 74-5588 Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.

This pau hana will feature trivia and group games with prizes, as well as demonstrations of different coffee brewing techniques highlighting the Kona Coffee &Tea award-winning medium roast. Attendees will enjoy delicious pupus and refreshments with the opportunity to talk story with Chamber member businesses from all across West Hawaii.

The chamber’s monthly AfterHours – which meets every third Wednesday of the month – is a networking event for attendees to build their professional networks by connecting to the West Hawaii business community.

Strickler named top loan professional

HONOLULU – Homebridge Financial Services in Hawaii announced Wednesday that Team Hi Five, Preston Sims and Rylan Maddox of Oahu, and Ronnie Strickler of Hawaii Island are April’s top producers.

Sims (NMLS #928229) and Maddox (NMLS #973196) are mortgage loan originators with the Kahala office, known as Team Hi Five, which specializes in helping Hawaii’s first-time homebuyers, investors, veterans, and everyone else.

Strickler is a mortgage loan originator for the Kailua-Kona office on Hawaii Island. She has 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining Homebridge, Ronnie owned her own mortgage brokerage called Strickly Mortgages, Inc. for nearly 13 years. She currently resides in Holualoa.
