Inocencio Sales

Inocencio Llana Sales, 67, of Keaau, died May 6 2019, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on May 15, 1951, in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a cook for KTA Supermarket and also a member of the Kinoole Baptist Church in Hilo.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. June 28 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel with a service at 7 p.m. Friends may call again 9-10:30 a.m. June 29 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 10:30 a.m. service. Casual attire. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section.

He is survived by wife, Nancy Sales of Keaau; daughters, Katherine Sales and Sandy Sales of Keaau; son, Patrick Sales of Keaau; sisters, Eufrocina Nicolas of California, Consvelo Duque, Cristina Martinez and Elena Quila of Keaau; brothers, Primitivo (Lily) Sales of Philippines and Esteban (Benita) Sales of Keaau; numerous grandsons and granddaughters; nieces and nephews.

Gordon Poire, Jr.

Gordon Hunter Kauhiokalani “Boy” Poire, Jr., died on June 14, 2019, at his home in Kailua-Kona. Born on Jan. 23, 1947, in Honolulu, he was a retired goldsmith, the sole proprietor of the jewelry store Gordon the Jeweler, previously worked at the old Kona Surf, the Ilikai Hotel, and KGMB Studios and was a member of the Kona Masonic Lodge F. &A.M., Aloha Shriners, Royal Order of Jesters, Scottish Rite, and Kona Coast Barley Boys.

He is survived by wife, Edy Gesaman-Poire of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Elizabeth “Napua” Poire of Kailua-Kona; brother, Scott Stevens-Poire of Hawaii Kai; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Yuk Ching Nakashima

Yuk Ching “YC” Nakashima, 90, of Hilo, died June 13, 2019, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born July 8, 1928, in Hilo, she was a retired secretary for International Longshore and Warehouse Union.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. June 25 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. service. Burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire.

She is survived by daughters, Karlene Graylin and Gayle Ayers of Hilo; sister, Marian Wailani of Hilo; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Camron Fox

Camron Wallace Fox, 58, of Keaau died May 20, 2019, at home. He was born in La Jolla, Calif.
