Police arrest man wanted for questioning in attempted murder case

KAILUA-KONA — Police have arrested a 21-year-old Kailua-Kona man wanted for questioning as part of an attempted murder investigation.

Just after 7 p.m. Monday, police with the Area II Special Enforcement Unit and South Kohala patrol officers found and arrested Jerome Kahoalii-Heath, who was taken into custody without incident.

Police said they received numerous calls, and Lt. Roylen Valera said police “are grateful for the public’s assistance.”
