Lisa Cabudol

Lisa Tsugie Cabudol, 64, of Naalehu, died April 17, 2019, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a librarian at the Naalehu Public Library, Pahala Public and School Library, formerly employed at the National Park Services in Volcano and was a member of the Naalehu Hongwanji Mission.

Friends may call 9-10 a.m. July 6 at the Naalehu Hongwanji Mission; memorial service at 10. Casual attire.

She is survived by husband, Audie Cabudol of Naalehu; daughters, Brynn (Francis) Alcain of Hilo, Erinn (Damien Quirit) Cabudol of Naalehu; son, Chase Cabudol of Naalehu; sister, Jann Nakamura of Hilo; five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Robert Lee

Robert Yut Kwai Lee, 93, of Volcano, died June 12, 2019, at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Kapaau, he was a retired vegetable farmer and worked for the former Kohala Sugar Co.

Private services held.

He is survived by son, William Lee of Volcano; daughter, Mabel Lee of Los Angeles; sisters, Loretta Lee of Kohala, Nancy Van Cleave of Kurtistown, Daisy Mak of China; brother, Joe Lee of Hilo; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey Middleton

Jeffrey “Jeff” Jamar Middleton, 71, of North Kohala, died June 17, 2019, at his residence. Born Nov. 9, 1947, in San Pedro, Calif., he was a longtime audio specialist for many Big Island luau and concert events, the inventor and founder of Hawaiian Handfins, an advocate for Hawaiian water sports and a professional body surfer.

Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.

He is survived by daughter, Dawnre Middleton Rivera; son, Sequoyah Middleton; one grandson, all of North Kohala; and sister, Dana Middleton of New Mexico.
