The Keei Transfer Station greenwaste collection site reached its maximum storage capacity, and closed at noon today. This site will reopen on its next regularly scheduled business day Friday. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Until 4 p.m. this afternoon, the public can take their greenwaste to the Kealakehe Transfer Station, which is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The county in a press release apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for its patience and understanding. Please visit our www.hawaiizerowaste.org website for future closure information and locations, or call the Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division Office, at 961-8270.
