KAILUA-KONA — A water main break near Ascension Mission Catholic Church on Puako Beach Drive has resulted in little to no water service for customers in the area, the Department of Water Supply reported Tuesday afternoon.

The department said around 8:30 p.m. that water service has been restored to customers along Puako Beach Drive after crews repaired the water main break near the church.

A department water tanker was stationed near the Puako General Store for the public’s use during the repair work.
