Lynn Bradley
Lynn Keiko Bradley, 72, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and formerly of Kona, died Aug. 3, 2019, at her family’s residence. Born Aug. 18, 1946, in Kealakekua, she was a retired teacher at Kealakehe, Hookena and Konawaena Elementary schools, co-head of Early Start Preschool in Honolulu and an active member of the former Central Kona Union Church (Life Water Church).
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at Life Water Church in Kealakekua; memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch to follow. Aloha attire is requested.
She is survived by son, David Bradley of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brother, Wilfred (Sue) Murakami of Kealakekua; one granddaughter; a niece and nephew; a grandniece and grandnephew; several cousins.
Richard Tripp Jr.
Richard “Bud” “Dicky Boy” Kahapaalii Tripp Jr., 59, of Waimea, died May 31, 2019, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born on Dec. 9, 1959, in Kealakekua.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-7 p.m. Aug. 29 at Kahaluu Beach Park large pavilion. The family requests casual attire.
He is survived by his sister, Roberta Tripp-Carvalho and Jacy Medina-Young of Waimea; brother Archieball Kahoopii of Kawaihae; sons, Tyson Canda-Tripp and Travis Canda-Tripp of Waimea; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christian Gulbrandsen
Dr. Christian Lyder Gulbrandsen, 80, of Waimea, died Aug. 8, 2019, at his residence. Born Nov. 15, 1938, in Westby, Wisconsin, he was a retired dean and professor of Medicine Emeritus of the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), a practicing internist specializing in hematology and oncology, and researcher.
Private family service held. No flowers or monetary offerings.
He is survived by wife, Dorothy; sons, Chris and Eric (Amy); sister, Elizabeth; brother, Lyder; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Gordon Ivon
Gordon Alexander Ivon, 54, of Captain Cook, died June 23, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Jan. 19, 1965, in San Pedro, California, he was a tour guide for Mauna Kea Summit Adventures, a former park ranger, and member of Kona Toastmasters.

He is survived by wife, Tonya Ivon of Captain Cook; mother, Susan Ivon of California; sons, Ryan (Cayla Nordloff) Wyatt of Captain Cook, Jonathan (Amanda Carr) Allen of Texas; brother, Robert Ivon III; aunt, Sandy Radmilovich both of California; three grandchildren; numerous cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.
