KAILUA-KONA — Hawaii Island police are asking for help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a theft case in August.

A residence on Kinoole Street in Hilo was entered and property removed by the suspect. An image of the suspect was captured on the home video surveillance system that the property owner had.

The images are being posted in the hopes of identifying the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Joseph Picadura of the South Hilo Patrol Division by calling the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer anonymity should call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
