William Wallett

William “Bill” Frederick Wallett, 82, of Ocean View, Hawaii died on Sept. 6, 2019, in Ocean View. Born on May 22, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, he worked as a carpenter.

A celebration of life will be held 2-7 p.m. Sept. 29 at his residence in Ocean View.

He is survived by his daughter, Lurlyn M. Scott; son, Kevin Kalei Wallett of Haiku, Maui, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Lila-Anne Yim

Lila-Anne Kauinohea Yim 87, of Waimea, died Aug. 2, 2019, at her residence. Born Oct. 26, 1931, in Waimea, she was a laborer at the State Tree Nursery for 31 years, member of Imiola Congregational Church, the Waimea Hawaiian Civic Club, the Kaahumanu Society, and the Makalii Voyaging Ohana.

Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Sept. 28, at the Imiola Congregational Church in Waimea. Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. The family requests casual attire.

She is survived by children, Harry (Gina) Kawai, Edith (Maulili Dickson) Kawai and Mary-Alice (Bernard) Noguès of Kamuela, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous cousins.

Corinne Tsue

Corinne Ichiko Tsue, 67, of Hilo, died Aug. 30, 2019, at Hilo Medical Center. Born April 19, 1952, in Hilo, she was retired from the County Department of Parks and Recreation and had also worked for the former Food Fair and Sure Save supermarkets.

Private services were held.

She is survived by son, Randall Tsue of Hilo; brother, Howard (Donna Dodd) Higashi of Hilo; sister, Lorna (Jeff) Higashi-Tsue of Hilo; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Milton Kaupu

Milton Pumehana Kaupu, 55, of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 27, 2019, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born July 30, 1964, in Ka’u, he was a former security guard for Jan Guard Security and NAH Security.

A celebration of life will be held from noon until 5 p.m. Oct. 26 at Naalehu Community Center.

He is survived by wife, Kimberly Kaupu; son, Alexander Kaupu both of Kailua-Kona; stepdaughter, Avori (Israel) Lara of Pahoa; brothers, Henry Kaupu of Honolulu, Kelly Kaupu, Nelson Kaupu; sister, Hale Kaupu-Hawkins all of Ocean View; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Emma-Jo Green

Emma-Jo Green, longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kona, died Sept. 11, 2019, after a short illness. Born Oct. 15, 1934, in San Mateo, Calif., she was active as a member of the Junior League contributing her many talents and civic service as a community volunteer.

A private memorial service in their Broadmoor home was held Sept. 15. An additional memorial service TBA will be held in Kona.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Melany Levenson (Howard), Lisa Graven, and Shelley Rinella (John); sister, Judy Johnson (Lowell), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
