KAILUA-KONA — The Kailua-Kona Public Library will be closed on Saturday for the Ironman World Championship.

The book drops will remain open at the Hualalai Road site, the Hawaii State Public Library System said.

To accommodate library patrons, the system said the Kailua-Kona Public Library will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. The library is typically closed on Mondays.

The library will resume its regular public service schedule the following day.
