A 23-year-old Waimea man was arrested Tuesday after a report of invasion of privacy was made.

On Sunday morning, South Kohala Patrol officers initiated an investigation after receiving a report that at approximately midnight, an unknown male was observed to be standing outside of a bathroom window of a residence located in the 62-2400 block of Haleola Place in Waimea.

The male appeared to be video-recording on a device that appeared to be a cellular telephone as a juvenile female was located within the bathroom area. Officers obtained a description of the suspect, continued the investigation, and were able to identify an adult male as the responsible individual.

On Tuesday morning, South Kohala Patrol officers arrested and charged 23-year-old Jeron Ramos, of Kamuela, for one count of invasion of privacy in the first degree. Bail was set at $2,000. Ramos posted the bail and was provided a future court date.
