HiSTEP to boost local businesses’ international exports

Are you interested in new opportunities to boost your business with export training and assistance for your target markets? Come learn more about the 2020 Hawaii State Trade Expansion Program (HiSTEP), designed to assist small businesses in Hawaii with growing their export business in markets around the world. The program is free, and takes place from 2:15-4:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at Hale Iako, Room 119, 73-970 Makako Bay Drive on the NELHA (OTEC) Campus next to the airport in Kailua-Kona.

The HiSTEP program involves training and mentoring, assistance programs, and support at major trade shows. The HiSTEP Export Readiness Program will help you to begin or expand your export market development through training and mentoring. The Company Assistance component provides Hawaii companies with export development funds up to $7,500. Finally, companies are supported through Hawaii Pavilions at major trade shows such as the Tokyo International Gift Show.
