Holualoa Village holds its monthly Art-After-Dark event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. this evening featuring new artists and art, free live music and a selection of food vendors. The free community event is for all ages.

Beginning with an artist’s reception during the event, Studio 7 Fine Arts will be celebrating 40 years of presenting contemporary art. Work of the founders, Setsuko Morinoue and Hiroki Morinoue, will be featured, along with 23 other select local artists.

Glyph Art Gallery will be featuring many new pieces, including new large work from Julie Mai, Shelly Maudsley White, David Reisland and Don Slocum. The gallery will also be welcoming a brand new food vendor out front, Gabriele’s Italian Eatery, featuring Neapolitan food.

Holualoa Gallery owners/artists will be present to meet and greet. Featured artist Mark Martell will be painting inside and John-E Collins will be performing live in front of the gallery.

Event regulars the Mauka High Notes will be performing on the lanai of Holualoa Ukelele Gallery. Inside, owner Sam Rosen will be featuring a selection of new instruments. Also catch the always ripping Dave Lawrence at Koa Realty, along with other unannounced musical guests.
