Maona Community Garden Thanksgiving Imu Fundraiser
Enjoy the best turkey (or ham, pork butt, ulu, uala or kalo) and support the Maona Community Garden with this Thanksgiving fundraiser! Turkey pastele and ulu are also available for preorder for $20, reservation required by Nov. 26.
Drop off your choice of meat at 4 p.m. Nov. 27, at Maona Community Garden. If you need to drop your package off earlier than 4 p.m., it needs to be in a cooler on ice. Pickup is 8-10 a.m. Thanksgiving day, Nov. 28.
Preparation Instructions:
Maximum weight of 20 lbs
Completely thawed
Remove bag of giblets
Do not stuff your turkey
Season according to your taste
Wrap food items well in 2 layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place in a foil pan. Want to ditch the foil? Consider using a reusable metal roasting pan with a cover. No glass please.
