Cassandra Ellis
Cassandra “Cassie” Lynn Ellis, 35, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 10, 2019. Born June 15, 1984, in Ft. Gordon, Ga., she owned and operated Two Chicks Cleaning Services; co-founded Keiki Come First Fishing Tournament, and was a member of NA and AA.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 23 at Big Game Fishing Clubhouse at Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona. Boats depart the harbor at noon followed by celebration of life. The family requests aloha attire and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by her daughters, Taylor Lee Campogan, Lana Lynn Campogan, Trinity Danielle Campogan, and Lucy Jean Lim, all of Kailua-Kona; mother, Laura Lee Matzen; father, Jim Ellis; brothers, Jimmy Ellis and Simon Ellis, all of Kailua-Kona; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joseph Eubanks, III
Dr. Joseph Daniel Eubanks, III, 74, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 5, 2019, at his residence. Born March 21, 1945, in San Diego, he was a neuropsychologist.
Private services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Beth Eubanks of Kailua-Kona, and sister, Barbara (Nathan) Pereira of Waikoloa.

Satsuko Tanaka
Satsuko “Nancy” Tanaka, 90, of Kealakekua, died Nov. 4, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born May 16, 1929, in Kona, she retired as a food service supervisor at Kona Community Hospital, and was a member of Daifukuji Soto Mission, Daifukuji Fujinkai, Kona Regional Senior Center and Kawanui Kumi.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 30, 2019 at Daifukuji Soto Mission in Honalo; memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. The family requests casual attire.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Paulette Baniaga) of Honalo, and Nicholas Tanaka of Honolulu; daughter, Marsha (Ron) Novell of Arkansas; sister, Daisy Takeo; one daughter-in-law; five grandchildren; five hanai grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Apolonia Toledo
Apolonia A. Toledo, 95, of Hilo, died Oct. 28, 2019, in Hilo. She was born June 10, 1924 in Lanao, Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Friends may call at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at Valley of the Temples Mortuary in Kaneohe, Oahu for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may again call at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 26 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Kailua, Oahu for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Burial follows at noon at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Cemetery in Kaneohe.
She is survived by children, Rosalinda (Toribio) Sagucio, Mariano (Jovita) Toledo, Rogelio (Mildred) Toledo, Archie (Beatriz) Toledo, Fe (Rodel) Virata, Efren (Sotera) Toledo; 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Nancy Stegehuis
Nancy Siliva Stegehuis, 89, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 8, 2019, at her residence. Born in American Samoa on May 25, 1930, she was head linen attendant at the former Kona Hilton Hotel, owner of a lei stand at Napoopoo Bay, a home day care provider, and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Nov. 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Kalani Street in Kailua-Kona. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Figueroa of Vancouver, Wash., Diana (Mahealani) Pai, and Jan Stegehuis of Kailua-Kona; hanai son, Keoki Cipriano of Kailua-Kona; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Don Canario
Don Michael Keahiokalani Canario, 66, of Hilo, died Nov. 14, 2019, at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. Born on Jan. 28, 1953, in Hilo, he was a retired police officer for the Hawaii County Police Department and he also was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Nov. 29 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 6 p.m. celebration of life. Casual attire. Flowers and lei are welcomed.
He is survived by daughters, Christina K. (Ivan Alatan) Canario of Honokaa and Cara-Lin K. (Sam Choy, Jr.) Canario of Kealakekua; companion, Karen R. Hamada of Hilo; brother, Gilbert (Susan) Canario, II of Waimea; sisters, Michelle (Mathew) Champion and Anna Marie Canario of Pahoa; four grandsons and one granddaughter; cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wilhelmina Kruithof
Wilhelmina Kruithof of Waikoloa, died Nov. 12 in Waikoloa. Born Aug. 30, 1923, in Indonesia, she worked for many years as a custodian and on the bottling line at a Napa Valley California winery.

Lesley Mealoha Kraus, 42, of Hilo, died Nov. 8 at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. She was born in Tacoma, Wash. and was a realtor and member of Team Nakanishi at Hawaii Life, a member of the Hilo Skate Park Coalition, Hawaii Island Board of Realtors, Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, and the Paradise Roller Girls.
Visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Hilo Yacht Club. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Casual attire, no flowers, lei welcomed.
