KAILUA-KONA — Police do not suspect foul play in the death of a 34-year-old woman whose body was found in a Kealakehe home Wednesday evening.

Lucille Arboleda, who was the subject of a missing persons bulletin and search Tuesday afternoon involving police, fire, family and friends on the ground and in the air, was found deceased in an abandoned home in the Kealakehe subdivision shortly before 5 p.m.

The Criminal Investigations Sections confirmed to West Hawaii Today on Wednesday morning that they do not suspect foul play in the case. The investigation remains ongoing.

Arboleda was reported as missing by her father on Sunday night after she had gone for a walk around 10 a.m. that day and hadn’t returned. The father said his daughter usually goes on walks every day, but normally returns three to four hours later, according to police.
