Well, of course many of us were wanting this guy in the White House to be impeached and removed from office. After all, he has been observed and heard doing many many repugnant and unconstitutional acts.

The original birther, he went on and on disavowing Barack Obama’s presidency, with a blind eye to an actual birth certificate. He actually bragged about sexually assaulting women. He told us over and over and over that he would turn over his tax returns for the citizens to see, but the opposite of that has occurred. He actually chose to criticize and demean an Iraq War fallen soldier’s parents, a Gold Star Family, who dared to criticize him at the convention.

He actually referred to neo-Nazis and homegrown white supremacists as very fine people. He actually was exposed for paying off a porn star to protect his campaign. He actually invited Russia to hack into Hillary’s emails to affect the election. He actually sided with Putin against our national security findings. He actually had little children removed from parents to teach those in need of a safe place a lesson. Division and whining has been his platform. I could go on and on, but I want to get to my point.

My point is that many many of us, including many now sycophantic Republicans, knew who he was before our 2016 election. He is well known for his lawless corner cutting, his ripping people off who did work for him, like the man who designed his club house or the illegal immigrants he hired to do the grunt work at his properties. He was fined for racial profiling when it came to allowing tenants to occupy his apartments. He has a wake of cheating, racist conduct, and egotistical conduct for us all to see.

So, yes, indeed, many of us Americans have never ever wanted him one foot inside our White House. We knew he would conduct himself according to how he has lived his life — cheating and bullying and verbally assaulting women as he wanted, and vilifying people of color, without consequences.

So, now that his very predictable conduct has finally reached a level of impeachable impact, why do we see the deer in the headlights look on the representatives’ faces in Congress who have loudly opposed impeaching him? He deserves this and so much more.

We can live without their fake ire. We know that behind closed doors their truth aligns more with what they refuse to acknowledge publicly, that the Democrats are speaking the truth. The king is bats*** nuts and needs to go.

The Lincoln Project gives me hope that there are many Republicans who refuse to accept Trump’s immoral tactics and unconstitutional conduct. I wish them all the good fortune of any viable leadership organization in reminding those who misremember who this horridly behaving guy in our White House really is.
