Rosalia Tadeo
Rosalia “Nanay” Bautista Tadeo, 95, of Keaau, died Dec. 26, 2019, at Life Care Center in Hilo. Born Nov. 8, 1924, in Waimanalo, Oahu, she was a papaya farmer.
Friends may call 6-7 p.m. Jan. 5, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call again 9-10 a.m. Jan. 6 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. celebration of Mass. Casual attire, flowers and lei are welcomed. Burial at 1 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section).
She is survived by husband, Santiago Tadeo of Keaau; sons, Narciso (Rosita) Tadeo of Keaau, Julito (Melody) Tadeo of Naalehu, Emilio (Delicia) Tadeo and Apostol (Helen) Tadeo of Pahoa, Celso (Maria) Tadeo of Hilo; daughters, Resurreccion (Tony) Antonio and Anita (Eduardo) Antonio of Pahoa, Delia (Aurelio) Ambida of Las Vegas, Carmen (Jason) Kaholoa’a of Keaau; brothers, Rogelio Indino of Philippines and Frank (Faye) Bautista of Oahu; sisters, Caridad Indino and Torina Indino of Philippines, Patricia Raynon and Dede Alporque of Oahu; 27 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Isaia Kealoha
Isaia “Anakala” Ikaya Kealoha, 87, died at his home in Hilo Dec. 10, 2019. Born Feb. 24, 1932, in Mokuhulu, Kaimu, Kalapana, he worked on Kwajalein, Johnston, and numerous Atoll Islands as an electrician for Holms and Navar and retired as an electrician for Maunakea Electric. He was a Korean War veteran for the United States Army and a lecturer at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Aha Punana-Leo, Kamehameha Schools, and Nawahiokalaniopuu he committed himself to cultivate and educate Hawaiian language and culture.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Jan. 6 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Wake Service will begin at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue 8-10 a.m. Jan. 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo. Casual Attire is requested.
He is survived by companion, Momi Kekaualua of Hilo; daughter, Yvonne (Edmund) Wong of Mountain View; sons, Darryl (Nastia) Kealoha of Hilo, Glenn (Pikake) Kealoha of Hilo, and Ivan (Amy) Kealoha of Seattle; hanai sons, Brandon Kealoha of Honolulu and Kaliko Beamer-Trapp of Hilo; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Lane Matsumura
Lane D. Matsumura, M.D., 63, of Hilo, died Dec. 23, 2019, at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired physician, graduated from the John A. Burns School of Medicine in 1983 and practiced medicine in Hilo from 1995-2015 and was an avid traveler and skier.
Private services at a later date. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by brother, Rex (Lori) Matsumura of Honolulu; sisters, Michele (Curtis) Nakatani of Honolulu, Donna (Tom) Foster of Hilo; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Arnold Cazimero
Arnold Edward “Caz” Cazimero, 77, of Kohala, died Oct. 13, 2019, at the Bay Medical Sacred Heart in Panama City, Fla. He was in Kohala, graduated from Kohala High School and was a retired 1st Sergeant and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Celebration of life services at 10 a.m. Jan. 4. at the Kahilu Town Hall, 67-1182 Lindsey Road, Waimea. Casual attire; lei and flowers welcomed.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Cazimero of Panama City, Fla.; stepdaughter, Shannon (Erin) Pigneri of Panama City, Fla.; mother of his children, Olinda P. Cazimero of Waimea; sons, Arnold E Cazimero Jr. of Waimea and Clarence (Oliwia) Cazimero of Germany; daughters, Annette (Kenneth) Purdy of Emmett, Idaho and Darlyne (Jary) Cazimero of Waimea; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
