The Solid Waste Division’s public informational meetings this week at the Naalehu Clubhouse, Yano Hall, Aupuni Center Conference Room (Hilo) and Waimea Community Center are postponed due to unexpected emergencies.
They were scheduled from Tuesday through Friday, respectively.
The department said in a news release today it will notify the public when new meeting dates are set. The meetings are to discuss the facilities’ operating days and the possibility of modifying the current schedule for transfer stations islandwide.
