The public comment period for the updated plan is open for 60 days, running from Dec. 6 through Feb. 4. Written testimony will be accepted throughout the entire public comment period and can be emailed to ISWMP@hawaiicounty.gov.

Oral testimony will be taken 5-7 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Council Chambers, West Hawaii Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building A, Kailua-Kona.

To testify at the hearing, speakers must sign in upon arrival and fill out a small form. Speakers will be called in order of arrival and be limited to three minutes to testify.
