Police seek ID of suspect accused of vandalizing Volcano’s Cooper Center

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for allegedly vandalizing on Dec. 5, 2019, the Cooper Center in Volcano.

The unidentified suspect was caught on surveillance equipment at approximately 1:34 p.m. that day hitting the window of the Cooper Center Book Store causing damage, according to a press release from the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect should call Officer Michael Sailer at the Pahoa Police Station by calling 965-2716 or the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
