Over 11,000 Hawaiian Electric customers lost power Thursday afternoon in West Hawaii.

A Hawaiian Electric spokesperson said power went out at 5:05 p.m. and was restored to all 11,300 customers affected seven minutes later.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
