Maria Garlitos

Maria Pagaduan Garlitos, 88, of Keaau, died Feb. 19, 2020, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born May 31, 1931, in Pangasinan, Philippines, she was a retired elementary school teacher in the Philippines and also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Private services.

She is survived by sons, Rodolfo (Maria Carmella) Garlitos, Manuel (Ester) Garlitos, Ruben (Wennie) Garlitos and Roberto (Marites) of Keaau; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Modesto Pagaduan and Domingo Pagaduan of Hawaii; sisters, Felisa Espresion and Caridad Villanueva of Hawaii; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Marlene Ah Lo

Marlene May Ah Lo, 72, of Hilo died March 26, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was the owner of the former Firehouse Restaurant.

Services to be held at a later date.

She is survived by husband, Kenneth Ah Lo of Hilo; sons, Kenneth (Felidan) Ah Lo II of Honolulu and Keola (Elaine) Nosaka of Virginia; daughter, Noralene Ah Lo of Hilo; brother, Calvin Arthur of Waipahu; sisters, Georgianne (John) Amaral of Naalehu and Sharon (Louis) Perreira of Hilo; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
