“We are so grateful to the Kona Brewing Company for their partnership and support. Every dollar donated is critical to helping us get food on the tables of our families, friends and neighbors,” said Kristin Frost Albrecht, executive director of The Food Basket. “We are especially thrilled to use this donation to purchase 10,000 pounds of locally grown ‘ulu from the Hawaii Ulu Cooperative — not only helping to provide our most vulnerable residents with nutritious food — but also supporting over 100 farmers on our island.”
