West Hawaii lawmakers have rescheduled a virtual town hall meeting for Wednesday evening to update residents on the COVID-19 pandemic.

House Reps. Nicole E. Lowen, Richard P. Creagan, and David A. Tarnas; Sens. Lorraine R. Inouye and Dru Mano Kanuha; and Hawaii County Councilmembers Karen Eoff, Maile David, Rebecca Villegas, and Tim Richards will take part in the meeting that will be broadcast live starting at 7 p.m. on Lowen’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/nlowen.

Special guest Lt. Gov. Josh Green will also be taking part in the discussion. Green is a West Hawaii emergency room doctor who formerly represented West Hawaii in the state Legislature before becoming lieutenant governor.

Questions will be taken via Facebook during the event. The event was canceled Tuesday due to technicial difficulties.
