Police seek public’s help locating missing teen

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile female who was reported missing.

Sixteen-year-old Janerine Kaspar was last seen around 9:30 p.m. April 6 in the Kurtistown area, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

She is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, with curly black hair, medium complexion, and brown eyes, according to police. Kaspar also wears plastic-framed glasses. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black long sleeve shirt.

Police added Kaspar frequents the Lanakila housing area in Hilo.
